Municipal Solid Waste Management Program

Municipal Solid Waste (MSW) Management is the process of collecting, treating, and disposing of solid waste generated by households, businesses, and institutions. MSW management aims to reduce the environmental and health impacts of waste, as well as to recover valuable resources from it.

Some of the common methods of MSW management are:
Recycling:

The process of separating, collecting, and reprocessing materials that would otherwise be discarded as waste.

Incineration:

The process of burning waste at high temperatures to reduce its volume and produce heat or electricity.

Composting:

The process of decomposing organic waste by microorganisms under controlled conditions to produce a nutrient-rich soil amendment.

Landfilling:

The process of disposing of waste by burying it in a designated area, usually lined with impermeable materials to prevent leachate and gas emissions

MSW management is a complex and challenging task that requires careful planning, coordination, and regulation. Different methods of MSW management have different advantages and disadvantages, depending on the type, quantity, and characteristics of the waste, as well as the environmental, social, and economic factors of the location. Therefore, MSW management should follow the principles of integrated solid waste management (ISWM), which is the application of suitable techniques, technologies, and management programs to achieve the best possible outcomes for all types of waste from all sources.

In lieu of the above-mentioned ways we have a better solution to resolve the issue of MSW that will help us terminate the Landfills as well as prevent them from piling again. Our machine creates Refused Derived Fuel (RDF) from MSW without segregation and is further used by Furnaces, power plants and other industries. It burns with negligible pollution and the final residue remains 1% of the total waste converted into RDF. The machine is patented and manufactured in India. It is a stainless-steel machine and has a life of 20 years.

The Process of Business:
It will be further installed in Local Dumping grounds in every Municipal Corporation for which the Government will pay a certain amount to the individual for a contract period of minimum 10 to 20 years.
